Hot and cold food and drinks are available for students to buy at various times throughout the school day:
- Breakfast - available from Café Ramsay between 7.45 - 8.15am
- Break 1 - hot and cold snacks available from Café Ramsay and the Kiosk between 10.55 - 11.15am
- Break 2 - main meals available from Café Ramsay, 'grab & go' offer available from the Kiosk between 13.20 - 13.45pm
The catering contract at the school is currently run by Aspens. They operate a 3 week rotational menu.

Cashless Payment System - ParentPay
We operate a cashless payment system at Sir William Ramsay School so all school meals and school trips must be paid for via ParentPay an on-line payment system - www.parentpay.com.
ParentPay offers you the freedom to make payments whenever and wherever you like, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week - safe in the knowledge that the technology used is of the highest internet security available.
All students have a secure on-line account activated by Parents/Carers using a unique set of activation codes; you will be prompted to change these and to keep them safe and secure for future logins. If you have two or more children at the school, you can merge their accounts once you have activated both accounts.
If you require a reminder of your ParentPay account activation codes please contact the Finance Team at firstname.lastname@example.org. Please note that your account must be activated before you can login. To activate an account click on the word 'activate' in the bottom of the box at the top right-hand side of the screen entitled 'Account Login' and enter the codes you have been given. Then follow the instructions to set up your account.
If you have already activated your account and have forgotten your password, please visit parentpay.com, enter your username (usually an email address) and click 'Forgotten Password'. Instructions on how to re-set your password will then be emailed to you.
Making a payment is straightforward and ParentPay holds an electronic record of your payments to view at a later date; no card details are stored in any part of the system. Once you have activated your account you can make online payments straight away. It is important that you keep your child’s account in credit otherwise they will not be able to purchase meals. Alerts can be generated by text or email to prompt you to top up the account when the balance falls below a certain level; to help you do this please follow the 'I want to' tab on your ParentPay account.
Parents/Carers who are unable to top up students’ Café Ramsay accounts electronically using the ParentPay system should request a Payment card which can be used to pay cash into the lunch account at any shop displaying the yellow Paypoint sign. Payments for trips and other payment items can be made in the same way using a bar-coded letter. Cards and letters can be requested from the Finance Team or Student Reception (trips).

Aspens are committed to providing meals for children with special diets for medical and cultural requirements. It is essential that all parties concerned work together when providing a safe, special diet and that this is reviewed with every menu change. Therefore, if your child requires a special diet, please complete this form and return it to the school.
