Design & Technology

We have an exciting new curriculum in Years 7 to 11 which revolves around innovative design. This promotes imagination and creativity whilst also developing high quality making skills. We offer a diverse range of learning opportunities covering Textiles, Food & Nutrition and Product Design from the beginning of Year 7 where students are constantly designing and making products that are personalised and can bring home. Technology is a subject that fosters independence among students and promotes critical thinking and problem solving. It links heavily to Maths and English, supporting their learning in core subjects.
