Drama
At Sir William Ramsay School we believe in a creative and dynamic drama curriculum, where all students work together to develop their own confidence and ability to communicate in an expressive way. Through collaborative practical exploration students explore past and present cultures and issues. Throughout our curriculum we aim to prepare students with the transferable skills for a myriad of opportunities and futures.
Students throughout Key Stage 3 learn different topics and texts linked to the Performing Arts industries, whilst embedding the key skills such as performing, devising, movement, voice, facial expression and teamwork. In Key Stages 4 and 5 students have options to specialise in Performing Arts (Drama) as an option where we run the BTEC Level 2 and Level 3 courses, with excellent results.
