GCSE Results Day

GCSE Results Day

We are delighted to report some outstanding achievements by our students in their GCSEs, BTECs and Cambridge Nationals this summer.

 

  • 79% of students achieved grade 4 or above in English
  • 68% of students achieved grade 4 or above in Maths
  • 65% of students achieved grade 4 or above in both English and Maths.
  • 62% of students achieved at least 5 passes at grade 4 or above including English and Maths.

 

Some examples of excellent achievement include:

  • Emily Edwards with 6 grades 8 or 9 or BTEC equivalent, 2 grade 7 or BTEC equivalent and a grade 6.
  • Angela Mu with 4 grades 8 or 9 or BTEC equivalent, 4 grade 7 or BTEC equivalent and 2 grade 6.
  • Kwyn Ashby with 3 grades 8 or 9 or BTEC equivalent, 5 grade 7 or BTEC equivalent and Level 2 Merit.

 

Paul Ramsey, the school’s recently appointed Headteacher said: “Congratulations to all our students on their GCSE, BTEC, Cambridge National and VTCT results.  It’s a tremendous achievement, and we are very proud of them; they have made it through an incredibly tough two years.  We look forward to welcoming them back in September to our successful sixth form as they begin the next part of their academic journey”.
