We want our students to experience a diverse curriculum which provides a range of opportunity to help you succeed in later careers and other aspects of life.

We have an exciting curriculum in Years 7 to 11 which is set up to improve skills and techniques in a variety of sports with a focus of boosting students’ abilities to lead and work in teams.

In Years 10 and 11 students can choose to take the Cambridge National Certificate - Sport Science, which is GCSE equivalent.

In Years 12 and 13 students can choose to take the BTEC Extended Certificate in Sport and/or the BTEC Subsidiary Diploma in Uniformed Protective Services, these are A-Level equivalent.

We have a Fitness Room with cardio and weights equipment on site for use in lessons and after school and the department offer a variety of lunchtime and after-school sports clubs.
