 Key Dates For Your Diary

These days play a very important part in the secondary transition as they will give your child a chance to spend a couple of days getting to know their new school prior to starting full time in September 2026.  The days are designed to be fun but informative and will include lots of chances to explore the school site, meet new classmates and experience some lessons.  Further information will be sent out nearer the time.

7th July 2026 - New Year 7 Induction Evening

We invite you and your parents/carers to join us for the New Year 7 Induction Evening as we very much understand that the transition process is not only important for students, but for parents and carers too.  This will take place at 6pm in the Main Hall.  There will be a short presentation on aspects of school life at Sir William Ramsay School and will give everyone an opportunity to meet with key staff.

Monday 24th - Wednesday 26th August 206 - Summer School

We are excited to offer our new Year 7 Students a 3-day Summer School Programme.  We have seen that students who have attended summer school have benefited greatly from this opportunity, as it has supported them to settle into their new school environment quicker and helped in the development of new friendships in preparation for their first day. 

Further details will be sent out nearer the time along with an online form to confirm your child’s attendance.
