Sir William Ramsay School

Empowering Everyone to Achieve

A Level Results

Another fantastic year for our A Level and BTEC students at Sir William Ramsay School. Our overall A*-C has increased to 61%, an increase of nearly 10% on last year. Our A*-B has also increased by a similar amount. As always we have had some excellent individual successes with a high number of our students securing places on their chosen courses.

As Head of Sixth Form, I am incredibly proud of our students and all that they have achieved. They have been an absolute pleasure to work with and I am thrilled that so many of them are now off to University having secured their first choices. Seeing the smiles on their faces on results day was a fantastic end to a brilliant few years with them.

Below are Usman Shah and Zammen Farooq thrilled with their results. Usman achieved AAB in his A Levels and is now going on to study at London School of Economics. Zammen achieved 2 Bs in his A Levels and a Distinction* in BTEC Business and has secured his place at the University of Kent.

Aqsa Javid and Irfan Raja from Sir William Ramsay School absolutely delighted that they have secured their first choice Universities. Aqsa got in to Reading to study Law and Irfan into Royal Holloway to study Criminology.
