Curriculum Overview

Curriculum Intent

At Sir William Ramsay School students will explore the important influence that the Media industry has on all our lives. By equipping students with Media knowledge and skills we are preparing them to harness a tool that is quickly becoming a central aspect of our society and culture.

Media studies are a critical and historical study of film, television, journalism and web design. Media affects us all every day, why not take it one step further and start to find out why we are influenced by the media.

Media is taught in the media suite which is well equipped with industry-standard Apple Macs.
